The LGBTQIA+ Rainbow at Sapienza: A Seminar on Inclusion and Awareness

The Department of Human Neurosciences at Sapienza University of Rome will host the seminar "The LGBTQIA+ Rainbow at Sapienza", an opportunity for discussion and reflection on inclusion, respect for diversity, and the promotion of an inclusive academic community.

The event is part of the project "Università per tutt" (University for Everyone)**, an initiative aimed at fostering a university culture that is increasingly equitable, inclusive, and attentive to the well-being of every member of the academic community.

The seminar will feature Monica Zocconali, psychologist and psychotherapist, coordinator of Project 3 "University for Everyone"* and member of the GenderLens Executive Board. She will discuss the importance of inclusion and the recognition of LGBTQIA+ identities within the university environment. Lorenzo Tramontana, biotechnologist, book blogger, and bookstagrammer, will share his personal and professional perspective, highlighting the role of storytelling and science communication in promoting diversity and inclusion.

The event offers students, faculty members, and professional staff an opportunity to deepen their understanding of these important topics, encourage open dialogue, and contribute to building a university environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and valued.
